SHRM sent a letter to House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy expressing concern over PRO act provisions that would:
Violate employee privacy
Revoke attorney-client privilege; and
Shorten union election time frames
SHRM members played an active role in voicing concern for the legislation, sending over 900+ letters in less than 24 hours to lawmakers opposing H.R. 842. The bill now goes to the Senate where the outlook for action is uncertain.
