Latangela Hill's extensive career in Human Resources Management spans nearly three decades, encompassing roles in both public and private sectors. Her professional journey includes significant contributions to various local municipalities in Georgia, such as Fulton County Government, City of South Fulton, and the State of Georgia.
At the beginning of 2024, Latangela assumed the role of HR Director for the City of McDonough. In this capacity, she immediately embarked on critical initiatives such as assessing existing HR policies, identifying opportunities for process improvement, and implementing best practices in employee relations, recruitment, and compliance. Her efforts have included revising and modernizing city policies, fostering a culture of transparency, and ensuring alignment with state and federal employment regulations. Latangela has also prioritized strengthening employee engagement, enhancing diversity and inclusion efforts, and supporting leadership development initiatives.
