Tina Bufford is a dedicated professional with over two decades of experience in human resources, compensation, project management and strategic planning in both the public and private sectors. Throughout her career, Tina has demonstrated exceptional leadership skills, successfully overseeing diverse teams and driving complex projects to completion on time and within budget.

Currently, Tina serves as the Senior Enterprise Compensation Manager at the Georgia Department of Administrative Services—Human Resources Administration, where she spearheads various initiatives aimed at optimizing operational efficiency. Tina is also serving as the Compensation Workstream lead for the implementation of the new HCM Workday platform (GA@Work). Her keen analytical skills and attention to detail enable her to identify potential challenges and implement effective solutions. Under her guidance, her team has consistently exceeded performance targets, leading to improved client satisfaction. Tina has her Professional Human Resources (PHR) certification and is currently studying for her Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) and Society of Human Resource Management Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) certifications.

In addition to her professional pursuits, Tina is active in the Society of Human Resource Management (SHRM) in both the state and local chapters. Tina serves as the Chair of the Georgia Council for Human Resources (GCHR) where she previously served as chair-elect and secretary, and regularly participates in industry conferences and workshops. She is passionate about sharing her knowledge and mentoring emerging professionals.

Outside of work, Tina enjoys traveling (on motorcycle) with her husband, spending quality time with family, friends, and Goldendoodles Harley and Charlie, and entertaining and lounging poolside.
