Amanda "Mandy" Laine has been attending Greater Henry SHRM meetings since 2009 and has been an active member and Volunteer Leader for the past six years.
After working for many years as a payroll and compensation specialist with a metro Atlanta school system, she decided to get a college degree when she was unable to apply for the Recruiter position she desired. She attended nights and weekends for several years and finally earned her degree in Human Resources at Clayton State University, Magna cum Laude in 2014. After participating in the Greater Henry SHRM certification study group the following year, she passed the SHRM-CP certification test. She began her career in HR as a Regional Coordinator and Office Manager then 2016, began working in the medical field as a Recruiter and HR Generalist. Recently, she transitioned to manufacturing, and is the HR Business Partner with Low Temp Industries in Jonesboro.
This is Mandy's third year as the Volunteer Leader of Social Media for Greater Henry SHRM. In the past she helped with the SHRM Foundation and provided support to the Social Activities and College Engagement teams.
